Today, I'd love to introduce you to Renee Reid, the artist behind Renee Reid Creations.
Renee creates hand-drawn original artwork inspired by nature and the beauty of everyday moments.
Like many people, Renee spent years building a successful career that looked good on paper. A finance graduate turned corporate insurance professional, she spent nearly 13 years in the industry. As the demands of corporate life grew, she found herself increasingly burned out and disconnected from her creative side. During that time, she discovered colored pencil art and quickly fell in love with the process. What began as a creative outlet became a way to slow down, be present, and reconnect with herself outside of work.
After nearly 13 years in corporate America, Renee took a leap of faith and left her career behind. She later became a co-owner of a restaurant with her husband, navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship during the pandemic.
Following the sale of the restaurant, a trip to Pollença in northern Mallorca became a transformative experience. Inspired by the island's beauty, she spent her days drawing and returned home with three nearly finished colored-pencil pieces and a renewed commitment to creating.
That spark eventually became Renee Reid Creations.
Today, her artwork can be found on fine art prints, greeting cards, mugs, coasters, and other thoughtfully designed products that help people bring beauty into everyday life.
